Ｊｒを辞めると言っていた桜井二宮大野を入れたこと
そのことによって
年齢差・身長差・人気差を最低限に抑え
誰か一人を極端に目立たせるのではない、グループトータルの好バランスを保った

尚且つ
当時「前へ前へ」精神が強かった松本を最年少ポジに置き
その松本が慕う頭の良い桜井をまとめ役として置き
華はあるが無口で根暗な相葉と
能力は高いがやる気の無い大野の
突っ込み役・ムードメーカーとして器用な二宮を置いたこと

嵐５人のバランスを見ると
それまで不仲や権力争いで解散や低迷した先輩グループのバランスを反面教師にし
無意味な内部の軋轢を避けるための「長持ちするチーム作り」への強い意思を感じられる
